Elizabeth Hilborn is the award-winning author of Restoring Eden: Unearthing the Agribusiness Secret that Poisoned My Farming Community. When Hilborn noticed that pollinators on her family’s fruit farm were disappearing, she began an investigation that ultimately exposed the dangers posed by some common agricultural chemicals to life in her rural community. Then, she had to reveal her discovery and convince her skeptical neighbors of the new threats to their way of life too. Elizabeth works as a honey bee veterinarian, an environmental health scientist, a pollinator educator, and writes stories about conserving native pollinators.
